Seeing a Tutor

You can get help from Learning Centre tutors if you are registered in a Douglas College course. Tutors can help you with general academic skills such as writing and math; tutoring for course concepts is also available (depending on the knowledge and background of our available tutors). Students who wish to work without a tutor may use any of the self-help materials available in the Centre.

To make your first appointment:

  1. Complete a Request for Tutoring Form (pdf)
  2. Go to the Learning Centre and make an appointment

Instructors may encourage you to use Learning Centre services, but you are not required to have an Instructor's referral to get tutoring.
