Light the Lake

Light the Lake - Sunday, December 6th, 2009

The 5th annual Envision Financial Light the Lake is the biggest Christmas party in the Tri-Cities! The fun-filled family event features a Christmas market with hand-made crafts and holiday gifts, activities for the kids and those young at heart, hot chocolate and other yummy treats, as well as strolling carolers, entertainment and choirs. Admission is free.

Set for Sunday, December 6th from 3 to 7 pm at Lafarge Lake Park in Coquitlam, Light the Lake will once again include appearances by Ronald McDonald, celebrity emcee Steve Darling and of course Santa and his elves. Money raised at Envision Financial Light the Lake goes directly to support student aid at Douglas College.

Light the Lake is open to community groups who wish to host an activity for children, or provide music or refreshments. Some examples include Pin the Beard on Santa, Lollipop Pull, Shoot the Puck, Bingo and Christmas crafts. This fantastic community event, benefiting the Douglas College Foundation, is a great opportunity to promote your organization while demonstrating your support for post-secondary education right here at home.
