Role and Responsibility of CHCP in Projects

Seek out partnerships with agencies and respond to queries.

Meet with agencies on request to discuss and articulate their needs for a project.

Assist as needed and requested with developing grant applications to fund the project.

Match up faculty and/or faculty and students with the agency.

Support the development of the Project Charter by the agency and faculty.

Provide logistical support for the project as negotiated and space if required.

Ensure that there is a signed Agreement for Student Practicum in place if students are involved and before they begin the project within the agency.

Oversee the implementation and evaluation of the project.

Provide financial management of project funds at the CHCP level if needed; liaise with the college Financial Services department in management and accounting for funds.

Maintain records of the project.

Include the project and its outcomes in the CHCP website, Annual Reports and other materials.
