International Studies Award
International Studies Award
Jointly founded by Douglas College International and the Douglas College Foundation, the International Studies Award Program aims to subsidize domestic students participating in a study abroad activity.
A minimum of 20 awards of $500 each are given out every year to qualified applicants.
Basic eligibility criteria include,
- possessing Canadian citizenship or landed immigrant status
- being enrolled in, at the time of application, a Douglas College academic program of at least a two-year duration and which offers a Douglas College credential upon successful completion
- having a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher
- the study abroad program for which the award will subsidize must be a Douglas College program; a component of a Douglas College program; or a program delivered by an approved institution/organization.
